Creative writing non-profit organization Grub Street re-launched its Web site today at www.grubstreet.org. Grub Street, based in downtown Boston, offers dozens of writing workshops each season, and hosts well over 100 community events—seminars, readings, weekend classes, and more—each year. The redesign coincides with two big milestones for Grub Street: the publication of Born Before Plastic and the 7th annual Muse and the Marketplace conference. Born Before Plastic is the culmination of Grub Street's first Memoir Project, through which senior citizens from neighborhoods around Boston were coached through the process of writing down their own stories for posterity. The Muse and the Marketplace is Grub Street's hugely popular annual literary conference, which will be held on April 26-27 at the Omni Parker House in Boston.
